We have always been passionate about collaborating with partners in different places, sharing methods and ideas from all over the world.
Our partnerships are a testament to that. We form new partnerships frequently, while some of our oldest relationships go back over 25 years. We believe in long-term connections and learning, backed by an experienced team of staff dedicated to developing and supporting partner relationships.
We also believe in delivering strategic and financially viable propositions that are sustainable and provide long-term benefits for both The Open University and our partners.
Since it achieved full university status in 1997, The Open University of Hong Kong has selected and licensed courses from The Open University curriculum, translating and adapting them for its own students.
Working alongside all six Open Universities in China, we’ve already helped 79,000 students study for local qualifications with the highest quality materials and resources.
With over 25,000 students on board, we continue to strengthen our links with the Middle East. We enable students from Saudi Arabia to Kuwait to qualify with internationally recognised awards from a distinguished higher education institute.
Thanks to our partnership with The Independent Institute of Education in South Africa, we can offer students there the opportunity to study for an internationally recognised UK honours degree for local and international career progression.
