To date, more than 2,400 organisations have turned to us for business solutions. Our experience proves that we can deliver training and learning services at scale, with inherent flexibility.
Here are some highlights of our services:
- Content: The quality of our teaching is reflected in our materials and course content. We offer more than 600 learning modules across a range of subjects, and two-thirds of the UK’s 100 biggest universities use our course materials to teach their own students.
- Resources: Employees who learn with The Open University have access to a wealth of online resources including podcasts, broadcasts, computer software and interactive teaching materials, as well a dedicated website for the module(s) they’re studying.
- Online platforms: As pioneers of distance learning, we use the latest digital technology to deliver effective training solutions wherever possible. For example, our virtual learning environment allows learners to connect with their tutor and other learners online. Our OU Anywhere app enables learners to download their studies online or offline, allowing for a truly flexible learning experience.
- Online delivery: We deliver much of our training online. The advantages of online delivery are many, including maximum flexibility and minimum disruption. When staff learn online, little time needs to be taken out of work to attend training courses. This, in turn, encourages productivity.
The inherent flexibility of our training delivery means your staff can learn with us while staying focused on the job.
I have seen how technology can transform the way we do things - from shopping to socialising to studying. The Open University has an astonishing track record of using new and emerging technologies to make higher education available to all people around the world.
