Whether you live in Wexford, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Letterkenny or Dundalk, The Open University can open up opportunities throughout Ireland for anyone to access higher education. Our courses are flexible and allow you to study in your own time and in your own way. Most of our undergraduate courses do not require any previous qualifications - simply a willingness to learn.
Awareness of, and interest in, The Open University in the Republic of Ireland has increased significantly in recent years and student numbers have gworn rapidly to 3,500. They are supported by 138 tutors and 53 staff based at the headquarters in Belfast and the Enquiry and Advice Centre in Dublin.
