The OU in the East of England serves students in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Our headquarters are located in Cambridge.
80 staff and 700 part-time tutors support 18,500 students by phone, email and through tutorials at 25 study centres across the region. Students are supported throughout their time with the OU - the team of specialists here can offer advice and guidance on a range of issues including careers, disability, financial difficulties, time management and study-related problems. Find out more about skills workshops, course choice events and other services offered by the region.
The Regional Centre also provides services for prospective students. If you are thinking about studying with the OU or are trying to decide which course is right for you, you can come and view course materials in the Library at the Regional Centre, Monday-Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Or you can make an appointment with an educational adviser to discuss your options.
You don't have to visit the Regional Centre to have the opportunity to meet our staff and discuss what it's like to study with us. Throughout the year we arrange information events across the region. Find out where you can come and meet us at an OU event near you.
