Apart from using the key statements based on your needs, you can also use the top bar, which gives you a number of options to choose from.
‘News’ gives you a selection of careers fairs, forthcoming events and information on career- or subject-related news that we think you might be interested in.
You can choose to view the news either by category… or by date.
Click on ‘Services’ for a list of services we offer to registered students, prospective students or employers.
Click on ‘Features’ to display a host of options, most of which are available to anyone, covering all aspects of career planning, job seeking and job applications.
Click on ‘Contact’ if you’re a current or former OU student wanting to contact one of our Careers advisers directly or to find alternative sources of guidance if you’re not yet a student.
We recommend you check for relevant information on our website first, before contacting a Careers adviser.
The ‘Site map’ is arranged according to the themes that appear in our ‘Features’ and ‘Services’ menus.
It’s useful to look at this if you want a broad overview of what’s on the website.
Choose any section to reveal a list of the relevant pages. Click on the link to access the page you want.
A particularly useful tool is the ‘A-Z index’.
It allows you to search through the contents of our site quickly if you know the topic you’re interested in.
For instance, if you want to find out more about interviews, click on ‘I’ and scan for any relevant pages.
Then simply click on the one you’re interested in.
Finally, you can use our search facility to type in any keywords for your enquiry.
Links to the relevant pages are automatically displayed.
