Forum: How to make an impact with your CV
The OU Careers Advisory Service’s online forum on ‘How to make an impact with your CV’ is running from 2nd - 27th July 2012. It is designed to help and support OU students through the intricacies of putting together an effective CV. The forum will be moderated by professional careers advisers and will also utilise expertise and experience within the OU student community, by enabling the sharing of ideas, advice and best practice.
The forum is an excellent chance to address a whole range of CV-related topics such as:
- Types of CV you can use
- What employers are looking for on a CV
- How to start a CV from scratch if you haven’t got one
- What to put in a covering letter
- How to disclose a disability in a covering letter
Whether you need to put together a CV from scratch or brush up an existing one, this is the forum for you.
