Preparing for an assessment centre
Think about what is likely to happen
- Think about why you want the job and the skills required. It’s likely the assessments will simulate these skills requirements.
- Re-read the company’s or organisation’s brochures, look again at the website, and be sure you can talk about the sector they operate in
- Contact the company or organisation to see if they can provide any further briefing materials
- Prepare potential interview answers
- Think about questions you could ask at dinner or in any question-and-answer session
