Centre for Citizenship, Identities and Governance
The Centre for Citizenship, Identities and Governance (CCIG) is a University designated Centre of Research Excellence
We took stock of the implications of the UK Riots in 2011, launched a ground-breaking report on bisexuality, organised a major international symposium looking at new practices and boundaries of citizenship, and discussed racism and diversity in military institutions.
We also launched the creating publics project and the new research programme Enactments while our work on families and relationships has started exploring how relationships are embedded differently in various sites and communities. We are looking forward to an equally stimulating next four months. In the meantime, enjoy catching up on our activities and forthcoming events.
