College collaborations

Four young people seated at a tableCollege students, graduates and staff across Scotland are benefiting from the Open University's partnerships with colleges.

College students can progress to an Open University degree that builds on college qualifications and lets them study at a pace and place that suits them.

Studying with the OU is flexible and supportive, guided by expert tutors every step of the way. We give students all the essential course resources and materials they need and our dedicated student support teams are always there to help when advice or guidance is needed.

As pioneers in distance learning for over 50 years we have partnerships with 16 colleges across Scotland.

Partner colleges:

  • Ayrshire College
  • Borders College
  • City of Glasgow College
  • Dumfries and Galloway College
  • Dundee and Angus College
  • Edinburgh College
  • Fife College
  • Forth Valley College
  • Glasgow Clyde College
  • Glasgow Kelvin College
  • New College Lanarkshire
