Advice and support from ULRs
UNISON Learning Representatives (ULRs) are the main players in helping members to learn. They help and advise members on a range of learning-related issues, including:
- the funding options that are available and how to access them
- signposting potential learners to courses they will find useful
- supporting members during their studies
- representing members and negotiating with employers around learning issues
- discussing with members how they can assist them in their development.
If you would like to contact your ULR you will need to get in touch with someone from your branch who can supply you with their details.
For details of your local branch contact UNISON direct on 0845 355 0845.
