UNISON is keen to enable our local branches to play a full role in lifelong learning. To help facilitate this work UNISON has created the role of the Lifelong Learning Co-ordinator. The role involves:

• liaising with the local branch via the branch education team
• co-ordinating the activity of UNISON Learning Representatives with the branch education team
• negotiating around learning with employers
• developing opportunities, which the learning agenda provides, to interest members in the work of UNISON.
