Student Mental Health Seminar, 22 October 2018, London

This was the third seminar in a series specifically designed for the OU's group of partner institutions. The event opened with a presentation by Dr Andrew Reeves, Associate Professor in the Counselling Professions and Mental Health at the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust on the topic of “Working in Partnership: Developing Mental Health Skills and Confidence”. This was followed by a presentation by Dr Jonathan Leach Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies, The Open University (OU), on “Supporting students affected by mental health issues”. Finally, Emma Greenstein, Mental Health Advisor, The Open University gave a presentation on “Academic tutor or the accidental counsellor?”.
