Do I have the time?

Our courses don’t take over your life – they become a part of it.

They’re designed to be flexible around your existing commitments, whether that’s family, work, caring, or living with a disability or additional needs. If you’re ready to get your degree and go after the job you’ve always wanted, take that next step.

Can I care and study at the same time? What about childcare?

We’re not going to sugar-coat it – building your future can be tough – it takes time and commitment. But we’ll give you the flexibility to choose where and when to study so you don’t have to worry about arranging childcare or a carer.

You won’t need to miss any days from work either. Like around 70% of our current students, you can continue working while studying towards your degree, so you won’t have to stop earning or providing for your family. And if you earn less than £25,000 a year you may be able to study for free.

What do we mean by flexible?

Our courses offer maximum flexibility – but there are still some limits, such as assessment deadlines or examination dates, but you will be able to:

  • Study from home…or wherever you like. We have students across every part of Scotland, and many of them are parents and carers.
  • Take breaks between modules…so you can progress at your own pace. You’ll have to complete each module within a specified timescale, but you can choose whether to complete your degree over a few years or take longer if you want.
