Accessibility Statement for Mises au point: advanced French (L310)
Mode of study
Most of this module’s study materials are online, but you will also work with one book. Online materials are composed of pages of text with images; audio and video clips (all with transcripts); and multiple-choice self-assessed quizzes. Online materials also include links to external resources, online forums and online tutorial rooms.
This module provides a range of learning events: face-to-face tutorials as well as online tutorials. Each face-to-face learning event offers an online (or other) alternative. Although not compulsory, attendance at tutorials will help you consolidate your learning.
Diagrams and other visual content
The study materials contain some diagrams, graphs and photographs. Figure descriptions are provided for them.
You may be required to search for, and make use of, third-party material online.
This module has Tutor-Marked Assignments (TMAs), which must be submitted online via the OU electronic TMA system, and two End-of-Module Assessments (EMAs) consisting of a written project submitted online and a speaking EMA which takes place in an online room.
You will receive feedback from your tutor on your submitted Tutor-Marked Assignments (TMAs). This is an important part of your learning and will also help you to reflect on your TMA performance. You should refer to it to help you prepare for your next assignment.
