Professor Mary Kellett, Dean and Director of Studies in the Faculty of Education and Language Studies, has recenly been awarded a Honorary Fellowship from the University of Central Lancashire for her work with the Children's Research Centre.
The Vice Chancellor of UCLAN stated:
"Each year the University of Central Lancashire confers honorary awards on a number of distinguished citizens who have made a substantial contribution to society. The university would like to acknowledge your significant contribution as a pioneer of children’s active participation in social research. It would be an encouragement to all students and staff to have someone of your dedication and tenacity as an Honorary Fellow of the University."
This follows Professor Kellett's success earlier this year at the Guardian University Awards where the Children's Research Centre was runner up in the oustanding research impact category.
