Inkanyezi: South Africa
Dongwe School perched on top of rolling hills in one of the poorest of South Africa's provinces, the Eastern Cape. This school is participating in the Inkanyezi project (Inkanyezi, in the local language Xhosa, means glow-worm). Inkanyezi is part of the Digital Education Enhancement Project (DEEP). This project is focusing on the ways in which new information and communications technology (ICT) can improve teaching and learning.
