Climate Modelling

One of the warmest intervals in Earth history was during the Cretaceous period. In collaboration with Paul Valdes and Bruce Sellwood at Reading University we have been investigating this "greenhouse" world using complex atmospheric general circulation models (AGCMs). Below is a comparison of the annual average surface (2m) temperature for today and that of the mid Cretaceous 95 million years ago.
