A mineral screen from the Minerals of Wales CD. Xenotime is a rare yttrium phosphate mineral that only occurs in tiny crystals. This photograph is a backscattered electron image taken with a scanning electron microscope. As the image contains a number of different minerals we thought it would help to colour in and label them.
