Aimhigher Kent & Medway Languages Project
Since 2006 the Open University in the South East has been working in partnership with Aimhigher Kent & Medway and the University of Kent to promote language learning among KS3 students.
The Languages Project aims to:
• Raise awareness of the potential of language learning and the career possibilities available to students of Modern Languages.
• Raise students´ intercultural awareness and understanding of the world.
• Increase students´ motivation and self-confidence.
• Produce reports and data with information about language learning attitudes and a range of promotional material and resources on language learning.
• Create a model that can be replicated.
