Profile

I joined the Open University in 1996, and have worked as a course manager on a number of Faculty of Education and Language Studies courses since 1998.  I have been managing the Masters in Education programme, the largest of its kind in Europe, since 2006.  My professional background is in linguistics, specialising in translation and simultaneous interpreting. Before I joined the Open University I worked as a translator/interpreter.
