Regine Hampel is a Senior Lecturer in Modern Languages (German) in the Department of Languages. She convenes the Open Languages Research Group, the largest research group within the Open University’s Centre for Research in Education and Educational Technology (CREET). Regine’s current research focuses on the use of technology in the context of language learning and teaching. She publishes regularly and disseminates her work at national and international conferences. In terms of teaching, Regine has been involved in all German courses run by the Open University and currently chairs a new level 2 German course that uses a blended approach, combining print materials, DVD-ROMs and a virtual learning environment.
