Broadly equivalent to two-thirds of a bachelor degree, foundation degrees combine academic theory with workplace learning. They’re ideal for junior management training and can be highly successful if you’re willing to support your employees with mentoring throughout the programme.

Certificate in Business Studies
In addition to our part time Business Studies Degree, we offer a Certificate in Business Studies, a business studies training qualification which develops knowledge and understanding of how businesses are organised and managed.
The compulsory core business module, An introduction to business studies, can be combined with a wide choice of other module options including IT, employment law, technology and finance – according to employee or organisational needs.
Stepping stone to a business education qualification: Employees taking the Certificate in Business Studies certificate will quickly obtain a formal university qualification which can then be used as a stepping stone to the BA (Hons) Business Studies or one of our foundation degrees.
