Support Technician

Role overview
A support technician is responsible for keeping an application or suite of applications
running. They will commonly perform basic operational tasks (running scripts, batch jobs
etc) at a low level and will act as a technical specialist for their applications at higher
levels. A senior or principal technician may well have technical specialism (TECH) as a
core skill, and have operational skills at a high level, while a junior technician will lack
TECH and have operational skills at a lower level.
