Scottish Reports

The OU is proud to be the only university that operates across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The teaching of OU students resident in Scotland is funded by the Scottish Funding Council but we are also able to bring to Scotland significant benefits derived from being part of the UK’s largest higher education institution.

We aim to reach even more students by offering a wider range of study options and our outcome agreement with the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) shows our continued commitment to widen access and success, attracting and providing more equal opportunities for people of all ages, and from all communities and backgrounds.

As required by the Public Sector Equality Duty and the specific requirements for Scotland, The Open University in Scotland is now publishing its second report for the period 2021-2025:

The Open University in Scotland Public Sector Duty Report 2021-2025.

We see this as a dynamic document which will be regularly updated as our strategic goals develop and new activities are agreed.
