The Freedom of Information Act 2000 established a general right of access to information held by public authorities, subject to certain exemptions.
So far as is possible, The Open University wishes to provide members of the public with any information it holds, on request. The University is committed to promoting public understanding of its nature and activities via the systematic publication of relevant information. It will provide, where practical and permissable, additional information to members of the public in cases where routinely published information does not provide them with the information they require.
