We have a team of Corporate Sales Managers who work with organisations to determine their management development requirements and to advise how best to meet these needs. They liaise closely with our Centre for Continuing Professional Development who can tailor standard courses to groups of employees, or develop bespoke courses to fit needs exactly.
How we work with organisations
Employee development courses offered by other organisations routinely require staff to be off site during working hours. The Open University is different because:
- Staff study whilst remaining at work, so they maintain uninterrupted career progression with the minimum of disruption to their employers.
- Newly acquired knowledge and skills are applied immediately in the workplace.
- By managing their own study time and pattern, students improve their time management and organisational skills.
- Many of our courses and qualifications can be counted for continuing professional development with a wide number of professional bodies.
Staff development that benefits you
OU courses are intellectually stimulating and require disciplined application to study. Our students demonstrate a high level of commitment and enthusiasm. They communicate well, think logically and critically, and work effectively in teams and independently. All are critical skills for business growth.
Supporting staff who move around
Our core business is the volume delivery of a high quality, flexible learning experience to students who are distributed throughout the world. This makes us the perfect partner for organisations whose employees regularly move around or who are distributed around several locations.
Customisation
Our Centre for CPD can tailor standard courses to groups of your employees, or develop bespoke courses to fit your needs exactly.
Evaluation
You may have to justify the benefits of your training budget. Our automated evaluation service may be just what you need.
