Receiving your voucher pack
We aim to deliver the voucher pack to you within 5 working days of your order by recorded delivery. You may have your gift pack sent directly to the person receiving your gift. Please complete the delivery details when you place your order.
You will also receive an invoice confirming the details of the purchase for your records.


 

Who can I buy vouchers for?
Any adult with an interest in a subject and a desire to study should be able to cope with OU courses at the appropriate level. Students should be aged 18 before their course starts.

 

Can I buy vouchers for someone to study outside the UK?
If you’re buying a voucher for someone to study outside the UK, find out which to find out which OU courses are available in which locations. Please also bear in mind that international course fees differ from those for UK residents. To find out about course prices outside the UK, click on *Fees in other areas on the course description for pricing in the Republic of Ireland or Continental Europe.

What if I change my mind?
We will offer a full refund to you, the purchaser, if you send your request and return the original voucher, undamaged, within 21 days of purchase. Please send your voucher and request to:

Please note that we cannot offer a refund to anyone other than you. The refund will be made in the same way in which payment was received.
We recommend that you use recorded delivery to ensure that the returned voucher reaches us safely.

   


OU Gift Vouchers - Terms and Conditions

  1. OU Gift Vouchers may be redeemed for registration on any OU course. Vouchers are not redeemable against any other OU product or service.
  2. Please note that overpayment of course fees with OU Gift Voucher(s) cannot be refunded. 
  3. Existing OU students may wish to redeem voucher(s) against their current Open University Student Budget Account (OUSBA). In this case, the student should send their name, P.I. number and voucher(s) to:- OUSBA, PO Box 508, Walton Hall, Milton Keynes, MK7 6HX. For questions regarding redemption against an OUSBA account, please telephone 01908 655777 from within the UK or +44 1908 655777 from elsewhere.
  4. Vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
  5. You, the purchaser, are eligible for a full refund within 21 days of purchase should you change your mind. Please send the voucher and written request within 21 days to: OUGV Coordinator, LMS/OUW, PO Box 188, Milton Keynes, MK7 6DH, UK. Please note that we cannot offer a refund to anyone other than you, and we will refund by the same method as the payment originally took place.
  6. Students must be aged 18 or over before the course start date
  7. Please note that course prices differ in the UK and overseas. Some of our courses can be studied worldwide but please check on our website to find out which courses and locations are available. Fee converters for prices in the Republic of Ireland and Continental Europe are available with each course description in our online prospectus.
We strongly advise potential students to refer to The Open University Terms and Conditions booklet for information and advice about becoming an OU student. OU courses start at various times of the year - please see the course descriptions for full details. In some cases, registration closes several weeks before the course starts so that we can allocate tutorial support, where appropriate, and deliver course materials in good time.
