Blow the rules, I want you there for what I want
Colin Hiscoe
This paper looks at some of the ways in which the views of people with learning difficulties have changed about staff who support them. It also looks at how staff have seen their work with people with learning difficulties in two different places: institutions and, more recently, in the community.
The paper will also explore some of the good things and some of the problems that staff and people with learning difficulties have in working together.
