We are a group of researchers with learning disabilities called the Finding Out Group (FOG). We are supported by Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

This year (2014) we interviewed staff who used to work at The Princess Marina Hospital, Northampton. This was the last NHS long stay hospital to open in 1972.

We asked them what it was like to work in the Hospital, and what good practice they remember.

We had a coffee morning when people who had lived in the hospital added what they remembered.

We will tell the Conference about the project and what we found out about good practice.
