Aims
To investigate the management of long-term medication in the lives of people aged 75 or over, living in their own homes; and to identify ways in which the primary care team can contribute to the effectiveness of such medication.
Methods
A representative sample of 77 people aged 75 or over, living in their own homes and being prescribed medication for twelve months or more. 3-4 interviews, two-week diaries, medicine logs, data extracted from medical records.
