A young learning technology researcher or student with limited funds can attend the ALT conference as a result of the Robin Mason Fellowship fund set up by ALT. The full conference fee and accommodation for 3 nights will be paid for the successful applicant.
Applications to the Robin Mason Fellowship fund are welcomed by Friday 9 August from students and those from less developed countries who wish to attend the 2013 ALT conference from 10 – 12 September 2013.

IET’s Robin Mason was the founding chair of ALT’s Research Committee and was a great champion of learning technology, becoming the first ALT nominee on the research assessment panel of the funding bodies. She loved travel and was keenly interested in helping young researchers. She died in 2009 after a career of ground-breaking research in computer conferencing and learning technology.
