Using Student Statistics for Quality Assurance / Quality Enhancement and Analytics
Our key aim is to support the University in enhancing the student experience. We do this by:
- Providing information systems (tools) to enable easy access to student retention data, demographic profiles and student progression data
- Delivering and reporting internal and external institutional student surveys
- Undertaking analytics such as modelling student data and triangulating different data sources to provide insight
- Disseminating institutional data, information analysis and insight through regular internal presentations
- Collaborating with colleagues and units to undertake ad-hoc projects aimed at enhancing the quality of the student experience
- Supporting internal review processes and external audits
- Providing a University-wide service supporting online and postal questionnaires
