The Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PCAP) is in its last presentation. It is presented over two years and provides professional development for those who teach or otherwise support student learning in higher education. Closely-related to the UK national professional standards, this module uses modern technologies to help participants understand better teaching and learning in their subjects and institutions, as well as in higher education generally. The module gives you the opportunity to examine and appraise your education practices in the light of research-informed knowledge of learning, teaching, assessment and other aspects of the curriculum.
In this programme students investigate and apply technologies and practices to support student learning in distance, virtual, blended and face-to-face modes of teaching.
