Abstract
The presentation will explore the concept of political boredom. Taking as her starting point the political move away from clear ideological divisions within politics and towards a, broadly speaking, post-modern more fluid politics, Professor Angelia Wilson will ask 'What’s next?'. Is the answer 'post-truth' politics? Is the answer fragmented communities of interest full of hate for the 'other'? What insights does queer politics offer as we think about the future of politics?

The seminar will intentionally challenge 'us' to think about the context, temporality and future of 'queer' and of politics more broadly.
