Critical Reading Session: Ratna Kapur

Tue, 18 April 2017, 12:00 to 13:00

Gardiner Building 1, Meeting room 006

The first critical reading session will focus on Ratna Kapu's In the Aftermath of Critique We Are Not in Epistemic Free Fall: Human Rights, the Subaltern Subject, and Non-liberal Search for Freedom and Happiness.

The sessions, organised by DPP and the SRAs in International Development & Inclusive Innovation and Citizenship & Governance, provide a space in which to discuss texts that challenge mainstream theoretical approaches in the light of current sociopolitical events.

Staff, PhD students and practitioners are all welcome to attend – and to bring along their lunch and interested colleagues.

For more information, or to suggest a text for future sessions, please contact Alex Borda-Rodriguez.
