IKD: Innovation, Knowledge and Development
An Inter-Faculty Research Centre
Sally Hartley
An ESRC CASE Studentship (collaborator UK Co-operative College) funded PhD project, 2009-2012.
The objectives of this research are to bring together two key concerns: (i) innovative forms of organisation and activity for promoting enterprise and income generation in African development and (ii) the role and needs of youth in Africa who have the potential to shape Africa's future but who face the very real demands of building skills and capabilities and gaining employment.
