Using this toolkit

A toolbox

This toolkit is designed to help ALs introduce elements of information literacy to students. It contains a selection of optional activities on aspects of information literacy that ALs can use with students. These activities are intended to complement any instructions provided in the module materials, and can be adapted to suit your module. They are designed to be quick, both for you to plan and for your students to do. You can view Activities by topic, or Activities by level.

You can pick and choose material from this toolkit according to:

  • the level of skills of your students
  • the level of the module
  • the kinds of information literacy activities the module demands.
