Consider what assessment adjustments might be appropriate in the following situations.
A student is blind and unable to read text (of any size) or to hand write. He is due to take a 3-hour unseen written examination.
A student has blurred vision and is only able to read large print with difficulty, often causing painful eye strain. She has a coursework assignment to complete which involves extensive research on the Internet.
A student has a visual impairment which makes it difficult for him to hand write, and has reduced vision, particularly in bright light. He is required to keep a log of activities and observations in order to produce a reflective account of a study or field trip.
