Ben

I can only see in one direction. I don't have any peripheral vision. I have to sit, at the front in lectures. So I can see any PowerPoint screens or slides. Also I find some colours, hard to determine. Also in the dark, I can't see an awful lot. I record lectures and also a lot of materials go onto the Internet so you can download and save stuff from the net. I use Supernova to be able to magnify the screen and then once I've saved documents I use Kurzweil to read them to me. Supernova magnifies the screen. So you only see a little part of the screen and also whatever you're either clicking on, or bringing up with shortcut keys, it will actually tell you what it is. Kurzweil is more to do with books and what you do you have to load the book into Kurzweil so it's recognised it, obviously you can scan it in - and then you can save the documents and then it will read it back to you…as in “speak”.
