Some people have helpers. In Nick's case, he would have a helper alongside, who would work under Nick's instruction, to do the work so Nick can see what's going on. If there was something, for example, that involved looking down a microscope, which would be difficult for Nick, we could actually project a macroscopic image up onto a TV screen up at the front of the lab. That is, I guess, an example where not only Nick would benefit, but the whole class would benefit because they'd see that projection and everyone would benefit from that.
