I'm undergoing and undergone the assessment for Asperger's Syndrome and also mental health difficulties as well. And also at the moment… in the near future I'm going to be undergoing the assessment for ADHD as well, because that's what they reckon has levelled me out as a normal person. Because somebody with full Asperger's would be a recluse and I'm not a recluse. So ADHD and Asperger's kind of balance it out to look like a normal person, but in reality they're not.
How does that affect your learning?
It's been difficult all my life. From since I started school really, at the age of 5.
The way I learn, the way I think, how quickly I learn, how I respond and listen to tutors, teachers, lecturers, seminar leaders, and how my actual thinking style comes across.
