I've had sort of many different career ideas. I wanted to be a hotel manager once and then I decided, no, I couldn't hack that after… I was there for two weeks and I thought “No not for me”. As a kid I wanted to be a fireman but I soon realised the ladders and things might be a bit of a problem. But OT? Well at first I stumbled upon it really because I'd had OT as a child, some good and some bad and I guess I do it because yes I think I do have insight into some of the problems that patients might have, but I'm never arrogant enough to say that it makes me a better therapist, it just makes me a different one.
