I really enjoy bringing my experiences from the real world of legal practice to my teaching and bringing to life the modules which I tutor. This was a key part of why I became involved in teaching and adding value to students’ experiences is what keeps me going.

Teaching at the OU has been such an important part of my life, and my OU colleagues have been a valued part of my network throughout my varied career. My students have also taught me so much over the years, and have shaped, inspired and challenged me, in ways that they may not appreciate!

I spent 5 years living and working in Central and South-East Europe in the not-for-profit sector, focussing on developing University teaching practice in the post-socialist space.
