This video consists of two programmes; the first, introduced by playwright Willy Ru...ssell, looks back at how the Open University was formed in 1969. It contains footage of some of the most influential people involved in the creation of the Open University including Harold Wilson and Jennie Lee. The second programme celebrates the University's 25th Anniversary in 1994 and features contributions from many politicians and celebrities of the day.
