For how long before/after my module will I have access to online library resources?

It is usual for new students to gain access to OU online library resources one month before the start date of their module.

If you have already been an OU student and are going on to study another module here then you are entitled to access online library resources once you have registered and paid for the new module.

Permission for OU students to access online library resources normally ends 3 months after the official end date of the module (to allow for exam resits). If you are unable to access online library resources within these timescales please contact the Library Helpdesk.

The licences we sign with the suppliers of these resources are very strict about who can use them, so access is restricted to current OU students and staff only.

There are some Open Access Information Sources that may be of use, as well as some that are available to all.
