Study materials from other modules/other years

If you want to view the content supplied for modules taught at the Open University, from current or previous years you have a number of options:

  • A selection of study materials are available online for free on OpenLearn, iTunesU and the OU Learn channel on Youtube.
  • Your support team may have sets of study materials available to view. Please contact OU General Enquiries on +44 (0)300 303 5303 for more information
  • Current and archived print and AV are available to view only at the Library in Milton Keynes, Walton Hall. For study material from previous years, the University Archive at the Open University Campus, Walton Hall holds a comprehensive collection of printed and multi-media OU study materials from 1971 onwards. Archive materials are for reference only and you can contact the archive for visiting and viewing information.
  • If you have previously studied the module then you may retain electronic access to the module website. Check your StudentHome page to see if a link to the module is available. Select the Modules tab and then click on the name of the module from the drop down list. When the page opens there will be a link to the website near the top of the page if you have access.

Getting hold of past exam papers

You can purchase exam papers for some modules via the OUSA (Open University Students Association) downloadable exam papers web page. Exam papers by post may also be available.
