What help is there for organising references?

For information about the different ways references can be organised see the Safari tutorial section 6 topic 3.

The Bibliographic management page has details of a number of software applications, including RefWorks and EndNote, which can help you with your references. Some are freely available on the web. MyReferences is an OU tool that you can use. You can read more about this in the 'Personal online tools' section of the OU Computing Guide.

EndNote and RefWorks are probably more suitable for higher level modules with many references to manage and for those writing articles.
