Changes to 'One stop Search'

The old library search tool ‘One stop search’ is being closed down on 1 July 2015 and will be removed from the library website. If you've created your own login for One stop search and have saved resources in folders via One stop search you will still be able to access those saved resources through EBSCOHost once it has closed down.

Library Search has replaced the One stop search, journals and ebooks search boxes on the library website www.open.ac.uk/library. Library Search gives you access to more of the library’s resources, allowing you to find articles and books more easily in one search interface. It includes a handy ‘My Bookshelf’ option so you can save and manage your search results.

The new Library Search will improve the experience and ease of finding articles, journals, databases and books. It is being introduced into module materials with accompanying help and support materials. Library Search has undergone testing with students from the Library Student Panel to ensure it meets study needs.
