Ebooks are now easier to spot in Library Search

It was clear through our usability testing and feedback from customers that it would be useful to display ebooks and print books as separate material types in Library Search results.

It has taken us over a year to make all the changes necessary to make this work, but it is now live!

As well as ebooks and print books displaying as separate material types in your search results, there are now separate filters for narrowing down your results to the specific resource type you want.

You can still see all books by clicking ‘more options’ under 'Resource Type’ and selecting to include both print books and ebooks.
