Find out which BBC programmes were broadcast on your birthday!

[[[image-0 medium right]]]Did you know the BBC has put together a fascinating database of radio and television programmes? 

The BBC Genome Project contains the listings information which the BBC printed in Radio Times between 1923 and 2009. You can search the site for BBC programmes, people, dates and Radio Times editions.  If you search on 'The Open University', there is information on the first OU programmes aired in 1971 or have a bit of fun and find out which programmes were broadcast on your birthday!

You can even join in and become part of the community that is improving this resource. As a result of the scanning process there are spelling mistakes and punctuation errors and you can edit the entries to accurately reflect the magazine entry.
